What I Will Bring to Your Event

If you're thinking about booking me for an event, but want to know exactly what that entails, read this post! I'm going to lay out exactly what I bring with me to every event and what I use these things for. Each event is different, and what I bring isn't always exclusive to this list. However, I will always have everything on this list either with me in the cart, or in the car just in case!

-Cotton Candy Cart

I mean, I think this one is pretty obvious! I of course always have my cotton candy cart with me. This is how the magic happens! I also have a transporting cart that I put all of my other supplies on to set up the cotton candy station. Once I have everything set up, this cart goes back in the car until I am ready to break down my station. Here is a picture of the cotton candy cart that I will use:

This is the same cotton candy cart that I will be using, however mine is in the process of being painted white for versatility. This way I can use any decoration you may provide. If you choose not to decorate the cotton candy cart, that's okay too! I chose to paint it white so that it will work in pretty much any setting without taking away from your event.

- Sugar Scoops and Candy Cones

For each flavor that you choose, I will bring a sugar scoop that I will use exclusively for that flavor. The scoops are just tablespoon sized scoops that are labeled for each event. They are washed and sanitized between events as well. Each cone of cotton candy takes 2-3 scoops of sugar, which sounds like a lot! However, if you think about it, 3 tablespoons of sugar really isn't all that crazy. A lot of things that we eat at weddings and birthdays have a lot more sugar than that! Realistically, your guests won't have just one cone of cotton candy. We also bring disposable cones that we spin the cotton candy onto. We start with enough cones for each guest to have two cones, however we keep plenty of extra cones in the car, just in case!

-Flavored Sugars and Candy Decorations

We can't make cotton candy without our delicious flavored sugars! Our clients pick up to three flavors, which we mix into our sugar along with the colors of their choice. Depending on the size on the event, we bring jars filled with our cotton candy sugar. Generally, we package them in quart sized jars and bring an appropriate amount of each flavor. Our cotton candy is delicious on its own, but sometimes you just want a little extra something! If requested, we also bring various candy decorations, sprinkles, and candies that go on top of cones. For example, we suggest putting rainbow sprinkles on the cake batter flavor! Here are a couple examples of the sprinkles and decorations we use:

-Extension Cord and Tools

In order to be sure that I can be prepared for any event venue, I always have a 60ft extension cord with me. That way I can be sure that I will have power no matter where in the venue the client would like me to be. I also bring a tool kit with everything I may need just in case something malfunctions with the machine. I will always check the machine and test it before coming to the event, however if anything happens there I will be prepared this way!

-Hand Sanitizer, Gloves, and Sanitizing Spray

Now more than ever, it's so important to be sure everything is clean and sanitary. I will always have hand sanitizer ready at the cart for me to use before spinning and your guests to use before eating. I always wear gloves for every single cone, as well as a mask. Whenever possible I will clean the cart with sanitizing spray as well.
